Accessibility Statement

Redwood should be usable by everyone who wants to train. Here's what this site does, and what still needs confirming about the building itself.

What this site does

  • Semantic landmarks and a single H1 per page, with headings in document order.
  • A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Visible focus rings on all interactive elements, never removed by styling.
  • Full keyboard operation, including the guest pass modal with focus trapping and Escape to close.
  • Labelled form fields with errors announced to assistive technology, not signalled by colour alone.
  • Alternative text on meaningful imagery; decorative imagery marked aria-hidden.
  • Body text at or above WCAG AA contrast on both the light and dark bands.
  • Motion reveals disabled automatically under prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320px width and tolerate 200% text zoom.

Known limitations

The embedded Google Maps frame is a third-party component whose accessibility Redwood does not control. Imagery on this concept is temporary reference artwork, so its alternative text describes the intended subject rather than a real photograph.

Accessibility of the building

Physical accessibility details for the building — entrance, restrooms, locker rooms and equipment access — must be supplied by ownership before this page is published.
